On Wednesday evening, the team at R & J PA Hire were proud to be part of a special local event at The Stag Inn in Lelly. The occasion was the official launch and signing of Rich Lusmore’s brand-new book, Special Attraction – a heartfelt look back at Hull City’s memorable 1998–99 season that still resonates with fans today.

The evening brought together three familiar names for local football and broadcasting fans – Rich Lusmore, Matthew Rudd, and Alan Fettis, Hull City’s much-loved former goalkeeper. Hosted by Matthew, the event combined humour, nostalgia, and insight into the making of the book, while giving the packed audience the chance to ask questions and share their own memories of the Tigers.

Clear sound for a packed venue

With a full house gathered in The Stag’s function room, good sound was essential. Conversations, laughter and questions quickly fill a space, and without the right equipment, even the most interesting discussions can be hard to follow.
