Yorkshire Cycle Festival 2027 – PA Hire at Driffield Showground

R & J PA Hire is delighted to have been rebooked to provide PA services for the Yorkshire Cycle Festival at Driffield Showground on 11th, 12th and 13th June 2027.

Having supported the festival in 2026, we’re looking forward to returning to the East Yorkshire venue and working with the organisers again.

Returning to Driffield Showground

A festival spread across a showground needs carefully planned sound coverage so visitors can hear announcements clearly as they move around the site.

Our PA services will support the organisers in sharing event information, programme updates and important announcements throughout the weekend. We’ll work with the team ahead of the festival to plan the equipment around the site layout and areas requiring coverage.

Building on Our 2026 Experience

R & J PA Hire supplied the public address system for the 2026 Yorkshire Cycle Festival at Driffield Showground, helping the organisers communicate with visitors, exhibitors and traders.

Returning to a familiar venue gives us a useful starting point for planning. We can draw on our experience of the site while discussing any changes to the festival’s layout or requirements for 2027.

Thank You for Choosing R & J PA Hire Again

Repeat bookings mean a great deal to our family-run business. We’d like to thank the Yorkshire Cycle Festival organisers for trusting us with their PA requirements again.

We’re looking forward to being back at Driffield Showground on 11–13 June 2027 and supporting another weekend for the cycling community.

Preparing for a Full Weekend of Festival Announcements

A three-day festival brings different communication needs throughout the weekend. From welcoming the first visitors to sharing programme updates and closing announcements, organisers need a straightforward way to reach people across the event site.

Ahead of the Yorkshire Cycle Festival, we’ll discuss where announcements are needed, who will be using the microphones and how the PA system can support the programme. Understanding these details helps us plan speaker positions and provide coverage suited to the layout, rather than simply increasing the volume in one area.

Clear speech is particularly important when visitors are browsing stands, chatting or moving between activities. Our aim is to make announcements easy to follow while keeping sound levels appropriate for the surroundings.

Working with the organisers again gives us the opportunity to build on our previous experience and adapt the setup where needed for the 11–13 June 2027 event.

Planning an Outdoor Event in 2027?

Based in East Yorkshire, R & J PA Hire supplies PA systems, commentary units and two-way radios for festivals, agricultural shows, sporting events and community gatherings across Yorkshire and beyond.

Whether you need announcements for a small gathering or sound coverage across a larger showground, we can discuss a setup suited to your venue and event.

Public Address System Hire for Yorkshire Cycle Festival

A clear and reliable PA system plays an important role at any large outdoor event. With visitors moving around the showground, announcements need to be heard clearly across key areas of the site.

R & J PA Hire will be providing the public address system to help keep visitors informed throughout the event. This can include general announcements, event updates, safety messages, lost child announcements, schedule changes and important information for exhibitors, traders and visitors.

Outdoor events such as the Yorkshire Cycle Festival require more than just a basic speaker and microphone. Open spaces, changing weather conditions, crowd movement and background noise all need to be considered when designing a PA system that works properly across the site.

Driffield Showground is a well-known outdoor event venue and offers a large open site suitable for shows, rallies, exhibitions and community events.

At R & J PA Hire, we understand the importance of setting up the right speaker positions, cable routes and control points to suit the layout of each individual event. No two outdoor events are ever exactly the same, which is why proper planning is key.

We are proud to support the Yorkshire Cycle Festival again and look forward to returning to Driffield Showground on 11–13 June 2027.
