On Saturday,1st March, 2025, the grounds of The Grammar School in Leeds were alive with excitement as some of the UK’s finest young athletes competed in the 43rd English Schools A.A. Cross Country Cup Final. With years of dedication and hard work on the line, competitors pushed themselves to the limit in a thrilling showcase of endurance, determination, and sporting excellence.

At R & J PA Hire, we were proud to play our part in making the event run smoothly, ensuring that every announcement, race update, and final presentation was heard loud and clear.

Our Role in the Event

🔹 Commentary Unit – We provided a dedicated commentary box, giving the announcer a professional setup to deliver race insights, updates, and crucial information throughout the day.

🔹 Two-Way Radios – Communication is key at large-scale events, and our fleet of 30 two-way radios ensured that event officials, marshals, and organisers could coordinate effectively from start to finish.

🔹 PA System for the Awards Ceremony – After a day of intense racing, the spotlight turned to the presentation ceremony, where we supplied a clear and powerful PA system to celebrate the winners and their incredible achievements.
