Some weekends test preparation, logistics and teamwork more than others — and this was one of them.

Over the course of a single weekend, R & J PA Hire delivered full commentary and distributed public address systems for two separate Point-to-Point race meetings alongside a two-day car rally event. Each location brought its own challenges, requiring careful planning, structured setup schedules and reliable equipment deployment.

While many people attending these events simply hear clear commentary across the course, behind the scenes there is significant infrastructure involved in ensuring that audio coverage is consistent, safe and reliable from start to finish.

Distributed PA Systems for Point-to-Point Racing

Two-Day Rally Stage Audio Deployment

Alongside the race meetings, we also delivered commentary and stage coverage for a two-day rally event.

Motorsport rally stages present very different requirements compared to equestrian events. High-speed vehicles, restricted cable crossing points and strict safety protocols mean that wireless audio links and carefully positioned speaker arrays are often required.

For the rally weekend, our services included:
